GARAGE PLANTER

一本の柱で支えられた空間が、住宅のガレージのようにも見える建築的なスケールを感じさせるプランターです。
ブルーグレーのモルタルを使い、モダンな雰囲気に仕上げています。植物を直接植え込み育てていくことで、雨風の影響による自然な経年変化によりモルタルの表情が深まっていきます。植物の成長とともに、歴史を重ねた古い建築物のような風貌に変化していきます。 育てる場所や植える植物よって、様々な表情を楽しむことができるプランターです。

This planter has an architectural scale to it. The space supported by a single pillar looks like a garage of a house. It is manufactured with blue-gray mortar for a modern atmosphere. Somehow, the plant gives warmth to this cold, dark building…as if giving it a second chance to stand tall once again. With time, the pot will also give its own "flavor" along with the plant.
