CEMENT COASTER

壁や床などの左官仕上げの一つ、洗い出しの技法で使ったモルタル素材のコースター。
砂利を埋め込んだモルタル表面をブラシで磨き露出させることで、自然な砂利の表情が現れます。
一枚ずつ手作業で磨き上げるため、大きさや表情もそれぞれ異なる素朴な仕上がりです。
木製テーブルやガラス天板などとも相性良く、普段使いや来客用にと幅広いシーンでお使いいただけます。
モルタルの適度な重さと吸水性を生かした長く使い込めるコースターです。

A mortar coaster made using exposed aggregate, one of the finishing techniques used on walls and floors.
By brushing and revealing the gravel embedded in the mortar surface, the natural expression of the stones appears.
Each piece is polished by hand, so every coaster has its own subtle differences in size and surface.
It works well with wooden tables and glass tops, and can be used easily in everyday life or when guests visit.
